PA4Kids Scholarship Program
Helping children stay enrolled, learn, and grow — even when life gets hard.
What Is the PA4Kids Scholarship?
The PA4Kids Scholarship offers financial support to help families cover costs such as:
- Tuition or program fees
- Registration or activity fees
- Short-term help during unexpected hardship
Awards may be given as:
- One-time scholarships
- Monthly sponsorships (3–12 months)
Because no child should stop growing, learning, or building confidence due to financial setbacks.
Who Can Apply?
Parents can apply if:
- Your child is enrolled (or accepted) in a qualifying program such as childcare, dance, gymnastics, music, swimming, boxing, or karate.
- Your family is experiencing financial need or a temporary hardship.
- Your child shows effort in school and/or contributes positively in the community.
Membership Requirement
To receive funding, both must be true at the time of award:
- The parent/guardian is a PA4Kids Parent Member, and
- The provider/program is a PA4Kids Member or Certified Provider.
You may still start your application — memberships must be completed before funding is released.
How It Works
- Become a Parent Member
Start your PA4Kids parent membership so we can serve and support your family. - Confirm or Invite Your Provider
If they’re already part of PA4Kids, you’ll select them in your application. If not, you can invite them and our team will contact them. - Apply Online
Share your child’s program details, family situation, school performance, community involvement, and personal story. - We Review & Score
Applications are evaluated for financial need, academic effort, community character, and personal growth. - You’re Notified
You’ll receive an email whether your child is approved for a one-time scholarship, a monthly sponsorship, or invited to reapply later. - Funds Go to Your Provider
If approved, PA4Kids verifies enrollment and funds are paid directly to your provider for your child’s program costs.
Note: We do not send scholarship funds to parents. All payments go to providers on behalf of your child.
Why Membership Matters
The PA4Kids Scholarship Program is built on trust, accountability, and quality.
Parents become members to stay connected to safe, vetted, quality-focused providers and to access resources and opportunities.
Providers become members or certified providers, agreeing to standards in safety, supervision, staff training, cleanliness, communication, and program quality.
By requiring both parents and providers to be members, we ensure scholarship dollars support children, families, and providers who share the same mission: “Building Trust. Empowering Growth.”
What Scholarships Can Help With
Depending on available funding, awards may be applied toward:
- Weekly or monthly tuition fees
- Registration fees
- Uniforms or class-required materials
- Short-term support during job loss, relocation, medical issues, or other hardship
Scholarship amounts and lengths may vary based on each child’s situation, provider costs, and available funding.
What We Look For
We review each application with care, looking at:
- Need: Is the family experiencing financial strain or a temporary hardship?
- Commitment: Has the child been consistently attending and participating?
- School Effort: Is the child doing well, improving, or demonstrating strong effort?
- Character & Community: Is the child kind, helpful, involved, or showing leadership?
- Growth: Has the program made a clear difference in confidence, behavior, skills, or future goals?
We support children who are trying, growing, and showing up — not just those with perfect grades or circumstances.
